The nearest airport is Munich International Airport (MUC).

From there, you can easily travel to Regensburg by train. Trains run regularly from Munich Airport (via Munich Hauptbahnhof or Freising) to Regensburg Central Station. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the connection.
